THE WHY

Something crucial is missing from our world. We see anger, righteousness, hatred, violence, despair, and disillusionment everywhere. What’s missing are those qualities that could transform these hostile forces. What’s missing is the presence of elements that could bring peace, tranquility, and empathy and create meaningful change for the greater good.

That missing is elder.

The presence of an authentic elder would change the tone of conversations, improve relationships, and transform outcomes. Elders embody wisdom, patience, and compassion and profoundly influence those around them. This is our purpose at the Contemporary Elder Institute.

Concurrently, becoming an elder is incredibly rewarding. It’s not just about the positive impact on the world but about internal growth, development, and transformation.  

When you become an elder, you understand and see yourself differently. As an elder, you now age with a newfound sense of purpose, grace, and benevolent temperament.
